Flannery O'Connor

Flannery O'Connor (1925–1964) was a master of Southern Gothic literature. Her best known work is the short story "A Good Man Is Hard to Find," which exemplifies her focus on regional settings and grotesque characters. While she has been praised for her writing, her cartoons have been overlooked until now.

Flannery O'Connor Before she became a literary legend, she wanted to be a cartoonist. Her rough-hewn technique combined with her acidic observations to form a visual precursor to her prose. This is the first book collecting this early visual work.
