Jim Osborne

Starting in the late '60s, Jim Osborne (1943-2001) was involved in the underground comix scene, drawing unsettling comics about murder, conspiracy, and battling demons, both figurative and literal. He lived and worked with underground contemporaries including Kim Deitch, Art Spiegelman, and S. Clay Wilson and contributed to such underground publications such as Yellow Dog, Bijou Funnies, and San Francisco Comic Book. As the underground comics scene declined in the early '70s, Osborne dropped out, stopped drawing comics, and laid low.
