Martin Kellerman

Rocky was born in the spring of 1998, after Martin Kellerman had been dumped by his girlfriend, lost his job as a gag cartoonist in a porn magazine and kicked out of his flat. He then sat down and started making some comic strips about a dog that gets dumped, sacked and kicked out. Today Rocky runs in the big newspapers, magazines, and websites in the Nordic countries, as well as in a number of European countries. Several albums and books have been published, and Rocky has his own comic magazine in Sweden and Norway. A play based on the comic and written by Kellerman has become among the biggest theater successes in Sweden and Finland in recent years. Swedish critics have called Kellerman one of the best Swedish writers to emerge for decades.
