Émile Bravo

Émile Bravo was born in Paris in 1964. In 1995 he founded the Vosges Studio along with David B., Christophe Blain, Joann Sfar, Emmanuel Guibert, and Frédéric Boilet. Although his "Aleksis Strogonov" character (co-created with Jean Regnaud) has been well reviewed, he is best known for the multi-volume album series Les Épatante Aventures de Jules (The Thrilling Adventures of Jules), published by Dargaud, for which he won the Goscinny "Outstanding New Writer" award at the 2002 Angoulęme Festival.
