Walter Harrison Cady (1877 – 1970) was an American cartoonist and illustrator best known for his illustrations of Thornton Burgess’ children’s stories (the Mother West Wind series) and his Peter Rabbit comic strip for the Herald-Tribube Syndiacte. Throughout his prolific career he also contributed to the magazines Life, St. Nicholas, American Boy, and many others.
