J. Hendrik Havermann was a Dutch lithographer who was famous for his sensitive portraits of mothers and their young. He exhibited such subjects in the Berlin Secession of 1901; fellow artists included Whistler, Anders Zorn, Toulouse-Lautrec, and Forain.
