R. Poedschmann was a German painter, member of the Dresden Secession, whose landscapes were popular on post cards of the day (a respectable home for respectable artwork) and in the pages of Jugend. He established a short-lived artist’s colony in Kirchberg an der Jagst, Schwäbisch Hall, Baden-Wüttemberg, Germany.
