Event Title: Gary Panter Art Exhibit
Where: Fredericks & Freiser - New York City
Category: Art Opening

Event description:

The great Gary Panter returns to the Fredericks & Freiser gallery in Chelsea for an exhibit of his paintings on Friday, January 25th!

As Gary tells us, "The gallery flooded and has had a lot of repairs and toil to get back in business. My work luckily was on a high shelf and so was not destroyed in the flood and so you can still see it rather than blobs of flotsam."

Support the arts and hurricane recovery, and take a trip to Chelsea for the opening reception from 6:00 to 8:00 PMFredericks & Freiser is located at 536 West 24th Street in NYC.

Location description:
Fredericks & Freiser represents a select group of emerging and established artists. Since opening in 1996 the gallery has maintained a strong commitment to introducing cutting-edge art to New York as well as representing artists of earlier generations whose work is particularly relevant to current trends and ideas. Fostering a continuum between the past and the present, the gallery’s curatorial program seeks to reveal the relation between art and the conditions that surround it. With nods to fashion, cinema, sub-cultures, and contemporary allegory, the art featured culturally provokes, weaving together a rich fabric-work of perspectives that expose the diversity, complexity and unmitigated boldness of contemporary art.
