Thanks to everyone who stopped by our table at the 2008 MoCCA Art Festival this past weekend! Great turnout, incredible guests, an intense early-summer NYC heat wave, and a couple of visits from emergency service personnel made it a memorable show! Once I'm caught up with business here, I'll write up a full run-down with photos and a bit of video; in the meantime, you can spend a few seconds looking over some real-time text updates I sent to our Twitter page during the show.
The HOTWIRE ART SHOW is having its opening party on Saturday night, JUNE 14th at the Scott Eder Gallery in Brooklyn's Dumbo neighborhood.
The show: An international cast with a veritable list of the comic book world's alternative home run hitters, veterans, and up and comers fills out the line up for this group show. Works of art in all types of media and fine art prints will be on display and for sale. Featured in the show: Max Anderson, Ivan Brunetti, Mary Fleener, Matti Hagelberg, Glenn Head, Danny Hellman, Sam Henderson, Tim Lane, David Lasky, Mats!?, Tony Millionaire, David Paleo, Johnny Ryan, David Sandlin, R. Sikoryak, Tobias Tak, Mark DeanVeca, and Chadwick Whitehead.
