Paul Hornschemeier has started up a Tumblr blog called The Daily Forlorn as a motivation to draw more frequently (as per his intro post). We all reap the rewards!

Paul Hornschemeier hasn't even started his Life with Mr. Dangerous book tour and already he's hit a significant bump in the road, losing some key support at his other publisher. So now he's doing it DIY-style, raising funds via a sale in his online shop and just plain begging. He explains it all here. One of his tour stops is at Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery on June 18, so we definitely appreciate anything you can do!

For more video action from Paul, check out this video trailer for Life with Mr. Dangerous which he commissioned from director Bruce Parsons. It's beautifully produced and depicts a bit of "offscreen" backstory in live action. Nice. And Paul shows off someone else showing off his forthcoming postcard set from Chronicle, So-So Heroes, here. Busy guy, that Paul.

Paul Hornschemeier's Mome serial "Life with Mr. Dangerous" comes to simulated life in this spiffy animated trailer made for the collected edition coming next month from Random House/Villard.
