Written by Jen Vaughn | Filed under Kickstarter 27 Nov 2013 1:23 AM
Bonne Lecture

Doth your eyes decieve you!? Pray, is that a Linda Medley print? Pull out the smelling salts before one of us faints from beauty!

bw Medley

You got it, we are almost done loading all the goodies onto the Kickstarter but more items keep coming in from your favorite cartoonists. Linda Medley of Castle Waiting gave us a few other prints. The color "Bonne Lecture" print is $75, the black and tan "Bonne Lecture" print is $60.

Don Rosa

Don Rosa is drawing color head shots in Uncle Scrooge and Donald Duck: The Son of the Sun for $500. The color head shot will be a character of your choice with an expression of your choice that will be tipped-in to your copy of the book. Signed (and dedicated to you if you choose) and quite a steal!

Tim Lane

Tim Lane is offering two new linoleum prints: the Congress Created Dust Bowl and The Cowboy ($30 each, images above, approximately 7x5"). You can also grab a copy of his new book The Lonesome Go plus a print ($60) or get The Complete Lonesome Go box set. What's that?! An experiment to move his stories beyond the medium of comics. These experiments are meant to supplement the stories included in The Lonesome Go (as well as Abandoned Cars) by exploring the narrative potential of spoken word performances, songs, film, and other things.

Peanuts

The Last Sunday Peanuts Strip by Charles M. Schulz: A 14" x 18" full color print of Schulz's farewell Peanuts strip that ran February 14, 2000 (he died in his sleep the night before). One of the loveliest and most heartfelt strips ever published,. reflecting Schulz's love for cartooning, his characters, and life. Framed ($100).

asano

Nijigahara Holograph Pre-order ($40): pre-order a copy of Inio Asano's epic manga that takes place over 10 years. When legend becomes truth in a town, what must the citizens sacrifice and how can they deal with what they've done?

Cathy Malkasian sent some beautiful Percy Gloom-themed soaps so suds yourself up on a particularly adventurous and/or depressing day with these cuties (a set of three for $30).

The Action Suits albums we have are still available and here's some luscious art to entice you. Al Columbia's album art for "Glazed Donuts / Andy the Android" (produced by Spot ON!) is surreal and brimming under the surface of what is known, unknown and terrifying ($30).

Al Columbia

Peter Bagge's album art for the Cancer Father, Visualize Ballard 7" by The Action Suits (label: Man's Ruin) captures a bit of the angst not unfamiliar to Seattle and the liner notes have sweet, sweet photos of young Eric Reynolds and Bagge (and Steve Fisk and Andy Schmidt)! Worth the price of admission right there.

We're also offering signed prints from R. Crumb's WEIRDO. Choose from issue #4, 8, 10 or 11 ($250 each). You can still get all four in a folio, signed and numbered by Crumb for $1000.

Weirdo Prints

Charles Burns 12 Set of Special Edition Elysian Beer Bottles ($250): Twelve unused and capped empty bottles from the Elysian's 12 Beers of the Apocalypse (2012) with art by Charles Burns. For the big Burns fan. One of a kind!
