Well, clearly, anyone can see from the covers of Tales Designed to Thrizzle that Michael Kupperman is, indeed, a master of book covers! And sometimes, he even lends those talents to other people's books!
On Wednesday, January 11th, you can join Michael for a visual presentation of his jacket art for the two books seen above. Both books are released by NY-based publisher Solid Objects, who is being celebrated at this event at Greenlight Books in Brooklyn!
Editors Max Winter and Lisa Lubasch will kick off the event at 7:30 PM, with readings by authors Jake Bohstedt Morrill and Jim Shepard, and a demonstration in awesome from Kupperman, as he discuss his work on those covers.
Greenlight Books is located at 686 Fulton Street (at South Portland) in Brooklyn, NY.
[ Edited to add: Just when you thought this event couldn't get better, we just found out from editors Max & Lisa that Kupperman will also be doing a reading of Mark Twain's Autobiography 1910-2010! Awesome! ]
