The first issue of the highly acclaimed Harvey-Award winning series from artist Dave Cooper features a 23-page installment of the 5-part serial "Ripple," a tortured psychodrama about a painter who becomes obsessed with his model, rendered in an uncharacteristically realistic style. Also featured is Pat McEown's "comix-noir, subterranean, urban crime-filled, donut-sweet" story that surprised everyone with its intricate construction. And rounding out the first issue is the first of a series of short stories co-written by Pip & Norton collaborator Gavin McInnes entitled "Television Program X-32b." It's all inside a painted cardstock cover in a special squarebound edition with endpapers and printed on high-quality antique yellow stock, designed by the artist with the scrupulous attention to high art production values that his fans have come to expect.
