D.J. Bryant was born in 1979 in Raleigh, North Carolina, but spent his formative years in Chugiak, Alaska. He graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle in September of 2001, shortly after the 9/11 attacks.
His first short story “The Steelcharge Horsecap” appeared in Danny Hellman’s Typhon anthology, published in 2008. His work has additionally appeared in Cinema Sewer, Mome and The Stranger.
