Daniel Branca (1951-2005), born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, worked as an animator and a humor-comics cartoonist before starting work with famous Disney comics production house Egmont. Best known for tales pitting Scrooge McDuck against the Beagle Boys and Magica De Spell, Branca was among the most popular Duckburg artists of the 1980s and 1990s.
