Jon Strongbow grew up in Seattle and comes from a family of artists and writers (his grandfather was a painter, his father a poet, his great uncle a famous pot-boiler novelist). Dropping out of high school because it was driving him mad, he entered art school where he excelled, dropped out again, traveled, wrote stories, songs, and instrumental jazz. He self-published The Fury of the Four Corners in 1988. He has supported himself as a pizza cook, a janitor, a window cleaner, and an illustrator for real estate agents. All One Life is his second book. He lives —where else?— in Seattle.
